All•Gar™ is the world’s most complete garlic supplement because it contains allicin-rich garlic bulbs and nutrient-rich wild bear’s garlic tops.  By combining the two, you get the highest possible levels of adenosine, minerals, allicin and related sulfur compounds. Garlic is powerful food, but there is more to the garlic plant than what you are getting in the typical garlic supplement. That is because common garlic supplements use only the cultivated garlic bulb and effectively give you only half of the active nutrients inherent to the garlic plant. Why settle for half of the goodness of garlic when you can have all the health benefits with All•Gar™ Odorless garlic supplement?

All•Gar starts with 400 mg. of allicin-rich Allium sativum garlic powder delivering about 5,000 mcg. allicin and stabilized allicin as diallyl trisulfide.  This extremely high level of allicin assures that All•Gar™ retains strong antimicrobial activity and the potential benefits to blood cholesterol levels.  Allicin-rich garlic has proven its efficacy over several centuries of use in dozens of cultures, and modern science supports the activity of this natural healer. To this “high-allicin” garlic, we add 200 mg. of nutrient-rich green leaves from the wild bear’s garlic plant, Allium ursinum. This garlic variety grows wild in the European foothills and has high levels of adenosine, sulfur, magnesium, manganese, iron, zinc and phosphorous. Every summer these leaves are harvested without damaging the garlic bulb which is left in the ground to sprout again the following spring.  By combining both the bulb and the leaves of the garlic plant, All•Gar™ gives you more of what you take garlic for. More sulfur and minerals, twice the phosphorous and up to 10 times the amount of adenosine. Adenosine works on many levels, effecting cholesterol absorption and blood lipid levels. Additionally, All•Gar™ maintains the highest levels of allicin and ajoene, the anti-thrombotic aspect of garlic, and is guaranteed to be odor-free.

Why settle for half a garlic product when you can have it all? All•Gar™, the only COMPLETE garlic supplement!* All•Gar™ contains 400 mg. high allicin garlic bulb and 200 mg. nutrient-rich garlic leaves offering garlic’s naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and sulfur compounds.

The National Health Interview Survey, conducted in 2007 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, found that 111,000 adults used chelation therapy as a form of complementary medicine in the previous 12 months.

Chelation Therapy is a process in which a substance is used to bind molecules, such as metals or minerals, and hold them tightly so that they can be removed from the body. Chelation has been scientifically proven to rid the body of excess or toxic metals. For example, a person who has lead poisoning may be given chelation therapy in order to bind and remove lead from the body before it can cause damage.

With EDTA chelation therapy, the substance that binds and removes metals and minerals is EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), a synthetic amino acid that is often delivered intravenously.  EDTA was first used shortly after WWII for the treatment of heavy metal poisoning. Calcium disodium EDTA chelation removes heavy metals and minerals from the blood, such as lead, iron, copper, and calcium, and is approved by the FDA for use in treating lead poisoning and toxicity from other heavy metals.  Although disodium EDTA it is not approved by the FDA to treat coronary heart disease (CHD), some physicians and alternative medicine practitioners have recommended its use in chelation as a way to treat CHD.

EDTA is an oligopeptide and is therefore considered a short-chain molecule.  An oligopeptide is a peptide whose molecules contain a relatively small number of amino-acid residues.

CaNa2 EDTA (Calcium disodium ethylenediamenetetraacetic acid) is the most common form of EDTA used in chelation therapy and the one with the history of safe and effective use.  There are a couple other compounds commonly referred to as EDTA, so when it comes to chelation therapy, make sure it’s Calcium disodium EDTA.

A couple easy steps will help ensure you get the full impact of EDTA.

  1.  EDTA is most effective when taken on an empty stomach.  This is because EDTA will begin binding to the first minerals it comes in contact with, so keeping it away from minerals in your stomach during absorption will help save the EDTA molecule’s effectiveness for where you want it (the bloodstream).
  2. Follow recommended dosage (2 caps twice per day) and supplement with a daily multivitamin and mineral supplement.  (Take separately from EDTA).  A mineral-rich one-a-day will help replenish natural and healthy mineral levels that may get slightly depleted with regular EDTA use.
  3. Cycle on and off EDTA.  We recommend 6 weeks on followed by 2 weeks off.  This is for the same reason we recommend a multivitamin and mineral supplement, 2 weeks off after prolonged regular use will allow your body time to naturally resupply itself with the proper mineral levels that may become depleted by EDTA.

EDTA is short for ethylenediamenetetraacetic acid, and is the name for a few variations of this widespread amino acid.  Arizona Natural Products only uses calcium disodium EDTA, which is the most commonly tested and most proven agent for chelation therapy.
