EDTA (Calcium disodium) is an amino acid and chelating agent that binds and removes metals and minerals from the body.

For decades, EDTA has been the standard treatment for heavy metal poisoning from lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury.  Oral chelation therapy binds with the harmful metals in the same way as intravenous chelation therapy.  The bound metals are then removed from the body via the urinary tract.

Active Ingredients: Calcium disodium EDTA (ethylenediamenetetraacetic acid).

Oral EDTA Recommendations: Take EDTA at least 2 hours apart from any meals or supplements. This is because it binds to metals and minerals indiscriminately, meaning if there are other minerals in the system it will bind to those before reaching the desired area. 2-3 capsules a day for 10 days = 1 intravenous session (approx).

Replenish depleted minerals by adding a multivitamin and mineral supplement. EDTA will draw away some minerals from your body over time, so it is a good idea to increase mineral intake.

We also recommend taking EDTA in cycles of 6 weeks on then 2 weeks off. This is for the same reason we suggest a one-a-day multi: the break will allow your body to restore its mineral content to more natural levels.
